Other seats on the market would take up too much space in my shower cubical. Always drill larger hole through tiles than needed for the fixing screws to prevent cracking tiles and seal around wall plug. (Posted on 10/02/2012)

One problem though. The kit came with a bag of white Wall Plugs and screws. I thought more about what dia hole to drill in a brick wall than I should have to. This seems to be 'it depends on the structure as to what expansion can be tolerated'. OK but give us a clue. I had to experiment. Also I will have to trial how to apply silicon to stop water entering the wall plug screw interface albeit minimal.
The old shower seat that this design has now replaced was black with mould ingress. This seat allows easy cleaning. (Posted on 02/01/2012)
