The thickness of the walls of this product are quite small, which in my view means it is not very suitable for standing on its own. It really needs the riser kit and some support under the base to make it completely stable. Otherwise a reasonable looking product. I replaced an old shower tray that had leaked around the edges for years. Now I can see that the design weaknesses of the old high foam-backed trays have been corrected.
