How Power Showers Work
A conventional Power Shower consists of a hot & cold feed (from stored supplies) and an integral pump. The unit does not require an independent supply from the consumer unit as no heating of water takes place. The integral pump increases the rate of flow from the shower head, but can only be installed in a positive head of pressure position in the property.
