I have just fitted this pump, it was very straight forward. I made use of the Salamander technical help line on three occasions and they were very helpful. Having followed their advice the pump worked as it should first time. It produces a nice shower with a big shower head, I have not connected it up to the rest of the house yet but I am not expecting any problems. I saw some mixed reports on salamander pumps, but having had a similar model which has only just developed a leak after about 10 years use, I decided to buy again, so I am hopefull that this one will at least last as long without trouble.
