Excellent cabinet and a tremendous bargain Review by Chris

I spent some time touring retailers in search of a stainless steel bathroom cabinet. John Lewis will sell you a nice one - for a few hundred pounds. The big DIY chains will sell you a cheaper one, but the quality is invariably lamentable. Homebase had one on display with the gap at the bottom of the hinged doors nearly half an inch wider at the bottom than the top. On the Bella the doors are aligned within one millimetre top to bottom and if I place a ruler along the bottom edge I can't see any vertical misalignment at all. So well done Bella. It's a very solid cabinet, nicely made with detachable doors and handy little knobs for opening them. The only downside is that there is no adjustment on any of the shelves. The product was well packed and received with no damage in transit. It is a very attractive piece of bathroom furniture and is high quality at an affordable and competitive price.

I do however wish to point out a mismatch between the Bella Bathrooms' terms and conditions for delivery and the carriers terms and conditions.

Bella's ts and cs advise the customer that he/she must inspect the product thoroughly to ensure no damage before signing for it. The carrier should allow you 15 minutes to check it. In my case the product was delivered by Parcel Force whose ts and cs insist that the customer must sign for the product unopened before the driver will allow it to be brought inside the premises giving no opportunity to check it before the driver leaves. Looks nice now that it is up - I placed a cut off side of the box the product came in and marked out the fixing holes that way. I should have taken the doos off before trying to hang the cabinet - it would have made it easier!!
The space between the shelves is a little small - I cannot stand up bottles of shampoo or any other average sized products.
Delivery was when promised and I would buy from this company again.

This cabinet is ultra modern and minimalistic in appearance. It was well protected in the packaging by the adhesive blue film; but it was a bit difficult to remove on the edges of the doors and the hinge areas. Others have slightly fancier looks (eg pegs at the bottom of the doors are better), maybe slightly better build quality (spot weld distortion is visible, but not at all offensive), and others have adjustable shelves - but this is a fraction of the price of others. Great value, good service from BB.

I saw a similar cabinet (possibly exactly the same one) in a high street store for over £200! I was made up when I found this one. It was well packaged and arrived promptly.
Slight downside is that the shelves aren't adjustable but I knew that before I purchased it.
The only frustrating thing......the blue plastic shrink wrap that it's covered in was a pain to peel off. It was stuck in all of the hinges and took a while to make sure that none was visible before hanging it on the wall. (Posted on 06/04/2011)

I found this cabinet after extensive internet searching and it seemed to be not only the best value but also an excellent design. I bought three of them and was not disappointed. They arrived promptly and were easy to install. I particularly like the unobtrusive but effective way the doors open from below and the stainless steel interior is easy to clean and also (almost) acts as an extra mirror. My only criticism is that the shelf height is fixed and all the shelves the same height which is not tall enough to accommodate a standard shampoo, shower gel or conditioner bottle. It would be good if the heights were adjustable or, failing that, if the shelves were arranged at different heights (this could be done without altering the overall height of the cabinet as it is always handy to have one very low-height shelf for things like tablets and bars of soap). I originally saw an almost identical cabinet in a well known Bathroom Store but when I saw this one for half the price I thought I would give it a go and I am glad I did because the quality and finish was as good as the more expensive one I saw. The only down side to this cabinet would be the shelves, because they are fixed and there are lots of things that I cannot stand up i.e toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving cream etc so I have to lay them down but this is a small inconvenience for such a lovely cabinet. Love this cabinet. Handles on the bottom of the doors are a nice touch, as this ensures no finger prints to spoil the look.

Would have like one of the shelves to have a bit more space to take taller items but otherwise can't fault it.

The sticky protection tape was easy to get off but the product did need to be cleaned with gusto so that you could not see any lines from the tape.Very easy to put up.Handles work well. I was not quite sure how a complete stainless steel cabinet would look, as the ones we had seen in department stores were a mixture of various materials ans their prices were well over £150. I did not want to spend this amount of money on bathroom cabinets so when we saw yours within our price range we were even more pleased when they arrived.
The double cabinets we have purchased are beautifully made with no sharp edges and great qulaity mirror doors.

This is a lovely looking cabinet at a great price. Well made, sturdy and easy to fit. Arrived very quickly.
The only slightly negative comment I have is that I was expecting just one shelf and it arrived with two. Although this turned out not to be a problem, I had checked with the supplier as recommended by Bella Bathrooms and they told me I would be getting one shelf. So the supply does seem to be a bit random as to whether you get a one or two shelf cabinet however Bella Bathrooms were trying to address this problem so it maybe fine now. Comfortably better than anything that I saw in the national DIY suppliers. Had to fit it myself, alone. Being a professional surveyor, this had to be right - and perfectly horizontal - which was quite an interesting exercise. The inherent strength of the cabinet was important when I was holding it against the wall, with a spirit level, and marking the fixing holes !!
