Dream Bathroom Inspiration

As someone who often gets access to the latest bathroom innovations and styles you could be fooled into thinking that I might find it difficult to plan my own dream bathroom. This is not the case though as I have a very distinct idea as to how my ideal bathroom space would look. In this blog I am going to discuss my bathroom design ideas for the perfect bathroom which will hopefully inspire you into making some choices as to what you would and wouldn’t want in your own bathroom designs. Of course this is a ‘dream’ scenario where money is no object but still it’s a good place to start planning a renovation project.

Creating Your Dream Bathroom

Let the Planning Begin!

So on to my own bathroom – I am lucky enough to have a generous sized bathroom space which leaves me with little restraint as to which items I can include in my bathroom design. It is also quite a bright space so I can choose darker shades without worrying about making the room feel smaller. I quite like the idea of creating quite a moody atmosphere which is quite different to the rest of my home plus I’m a huge fan of all the grey tones which are currently on trend for modern interiors.

Identiti2 Smoked Glass Walk in Shower Enclosure

With this in mind the first item I have to have in my dream bathroom is the stunning Identiti2 Smoked Glass Walk in Enclosure. I absolutely love the smoked effect on these shower panels and I think they give a truly unique finish. I would pair this with one of Frontline’s slimline rectangular shower trays to almost create the feeling of a wet room space. To complete my ultimate shower enclosure I would choose Frontline’s Dream Shower Column which has a generous white square head and additional handset. The geometric shaping is something I’m also a fan of which you will see as my design unfolds!

The Piece de Resistance!

The main feature of my bathroom will be a luxurious freestanding bath as there is nothing I like better than taking the time to chill out in a bubble bath when I have more time at the weekends. The bath of my choice would be Frontline’s stunning Cube2 version with its strong geometric design matched with a slim rim to give a minimalist feel. The double ended nature of this bath makes it perfect for sharing if you wish – personally my bath time is all about forgetting about the stresses and strains of life on my own!

Frontline Cube2 Freestanding Bath

For the rest of the bathroom suite I would choose from the Frontline Cubix range as this follows similar design lines to the bath. The back to wall toilet in the range keeps to the simplistic style that I’m looking for and the soft closing seat adds a touch of luxury to my space. I would opt for the full pedestal basin in the range – not typically a minimalist design but I quite like the classic appearance of this style of basin. To compliment my basin and bath I particularly like the Frontline Ixos tap selection. I would choose the mono basin mixer tap to create a more contemporary look for my basin. I would choose the sleek freestanding bath shower mixer tap to give a look of grandeur to my bath, again highlighting it as the focus of my dream bathroom.

Stylish Storage Solutions

To make sure your bathroom remains a clutter free and heavenly space it is always worth investing in some quality bathroom furniture UK designed, Every bathroom should have a mirrored cabinet above the basin to reflect the natural light and to keep those everyday lotions and potions close to hand. I love the style of the Frontline Paris which you will find in our Frontline Bathrooms section.  The door is a double sided mirror meaning you can still use it as a mirror whilst accessing your toiletries – this is a great feature for those busy mornings when you are rushing to get ready. I like the simplistic style of this mirror and the added luxury of the touch sensor switch for the light.

Frontline Play Blue Gloss

As I have already discussed I am in the lucky position of plenty of space in my bathroom and because of this I would opt for a generous tall wall unit. The new collection from Frontline I like is the “Play” and these stunning units are available in a range of gleaming gloss finishes. I’m going to pick the blue gloss finish as this subtle colour will perfectly compliment the grey tones I’m a fan of. The addition of a large storage unit will mean I can keep any bathroom extras hidden away while also having somewhere for towel storage.

The Finishing Touches

No dream bathroom is complete without adding the right accessories to compliment the style you are aiming for. To match my geometric and minimalist theme I would choose from the Frontline Chic accessories range to make sure my bathroom’s function matches its contemporary style.

Anthracite Towel Rail

Finally no one wants to spend time in a cold bathroom so ensuring the space is warm is a must. As I have a large bathroom this is particularly important. Underfloor heating would add a luxurious touch to the space but I would still choose a vertical column radiator and a designer towel rail to ensure the space was warm throughout. It would also mean I had somewhere to keep warm towels close to hand on leaving the bath or shower. I would choose an anthracite finish for these to fit in with the rest of the bathroom’s design.
